Good old Bellend going walkies again, something that not one pundit picked up yesterday for Leicesters first goal.

That was a good move actually. Bellerin was dragged inside by Barnes who's backheel was quality actually and combined for that excellent run and 1-2 with Tielemans. One of the best goals his season that was!

Our forwards had stopped pressing and where so ineffective in attack that goal was inevitable since we where so disjointed in attack with the ball coming back at us so much.

Lacazette, Auba, Ozil, Pepe.

Teams would die to have that sort of quality, but they can't do anything here.

You see that 4-2-3-1 everyone has been screaming for us to use. well we where using it just there when we went 2-0 down and we didn't do jack shit!

You know why?

In a 4-2-3-1 How the hell are we going to create chances either in possession or even on the counter with:

- Auba out wide who is poor technically out wide and can't dribble round players without just knocking it past them into space?

- Pepe who isn't good enough in open play consistently?

- Ozil who is slow on the ball and can only pass?

and don't even get me started on the lack of protection they will give the defence. The lack of awareness of our players abilities again.

Sorry what you said is not going to work vs Leicester who actually the personnel to play a balanced 4-2-3-1. We are that shit we can't. You just need to get real.

If we started with it we would of lost 5-0 instead of just 2-0. The defensive shape at least held out for 55 minutes then Ozil just died, the shape totally died up top and our average defenders eventually caved in.

We are a club which is now not even contenders for top 6!

One of our best performances came last season against Leicester where we played a 4-2-3-1 with Ozil playing. We have haven't player them again using that formation.

Because we don't have technically accomplished players like Iwobi and Miki available to play on the flanks to hold the ball, keep possession, pressure high and play attacking football on the front foot with Bellerin especially working the wide average vs a Leicester side who hated their manager at the time.

When you watch this I have to say, I'm impressed with Leicesters, formation and how they apply it.

No wonder we lost.

Its a purpose built formation that they believe in.

Decent analysis and summed up with us too worried about the opposition and not playing to our strengths. It's weak management. So worried about Leicester City he has our best strikers tracking their fullbacks and trying to stop them. Their fullbacks should have been worried about our attack and so busy that they couldn't afford to get forward.

Every game he plays is littered with similar incidents of Bellerin being hopelessly out of position. He has no clue at all about defending and has been a liability since his first game.

his speed has always helped him when he screws up, a better coach would work on his positioning and turn him into a good fullback, but not dracula.

anyway hes back after a year out so we aint going to see him at his best until start of next season.

remember rambo took over a year after his leg break to do that madness 12/13? 13/14? season.

SAme with holding. he was rly good until shiteford screwed him up and morons already calling him out last few games completely forgetting that hes been out for too long and is going to take a while to get back to form.
