If not this game then soon .......... we need to unleash Tierney with either Chambers / Bellerin to make this 4-3-3 work properly.

I'm hoping it'll be this game, at least give Tierney 2nd half or something.

Also (but we know it won't happen) sack off Xhaka for the love of god and play Torreria at CDM, Guendouzi and Willock or Cebellos in midfield.

Xhaka can't offer anything over all four of them, I'm sick of our managers having that one retarded project player.

Jobs on the line son, fix up because we could have a great team developing here.

Leno
Chambers - Sokratis - Holding - Tierney
Guendouzi - Xhaka
Willock
Pepe - Auba - Saka

Would start Musti and Ceballos but both probably aren't ready for another 90 mins yet and Chambers next to Musti would worry me, he needs Bellerin there.

Seriously any line up without Xhaka and I'm happy.
Wembley:
Community Shield @6-8-'23 = 1*-1 Manchester City

Emirates Stadium:
First game @10-9-'11 = 1 - 0 Swansea
Most memorable game @24-2-'22 = 2 - 1 Wolves
Last game @09-03-'24 = 2 - 1 Brentford
Next game @03-04-'24 = VS Luton [ Block 121 - Seat 847 ]

I think its a little too soon for Hector but Tierney is ready!

I not going to lie, i have a soft spot for players who have that rocket pass ability that Xhaka has but he's just never going to be dropped :( , there is nothing we can say to change this now :rofll:

Think Martinelli should get a 15min cameo tbf.

Guy needs a reward and he's more effective than Pepe or Saka.

from a solid, well balanced, robust mid week performance to no doubt a shambles of a performance at the weekend and being wide open

bournemouth are good and i can see them causing us plenty of problems.

Our EL stars will likely not be in the squad for this game. Xhaka starts as per usual, but we desperately need Ceballos and Pepe to make things happen on the pitch.

Leno
Chambers - Papa - Holding - Tierney
Guendouzi - Xhaka
Özil
Pepe - Aubameyang - Saka

Subs : Martinez - Luiz - Kolasinac - Torreira - Ceballos - Martinelli - Nelson

Emery really has the luxury of choosing and rotating. We also have the not that ready Bellerin, Willock, Smith Rowe and not to forget about our injured MVP Laca.

Now that you mention it, what IS the latest on Laca? When can we expect him back?

Lacazette is expected to return after the international break come the end of this month.

With some good fortune he might be back in time for the away game against Liverpool on the 30th.

Good side would like Torrera instead of xhaka, and a saka martinez job share/ replacement for what ever winger needs changing on the day

Great news, but I doubt Emery would start him. Did he ever start Laca against a top 6 team away?
