The three points and 3rd place is just fine with me.

FFS Citeh lost to Wolves and Spuds to Brighton.

It could have been worse!

judging ourselves by others f**k ups...the sign of a real big club with the right mentality.

Focus on ourselves and be good enough that other teams results don't matter, that's how you win this league and how we did it before.

Every football fan hopes the other teams f**k up. Otherwise what’s the point?

Martinelli should have started imo. He would have wrecked havoc

This game just echoes everything i already said about our squad.

- When Emery puts out a balanced team without Lacazette and flying fullbacks we lack quality with our attacking midfielders and wingers to blow decent premier league teams away. We instead are playing functional football which is the best this team can offer right now.

- This team is like the mirror opposite of the 2010-11 team. No real attacking mids bar Ceballos who is essentially an iniesta attack minded CM. lots of good defensive mids box 2 box players. Defenders with good base ability, top class keeper and two world class and reliable strikers.

The 2010/11 team. Loads of creativity, Loads of attacking mids, world class but unreliable injury prone striker, really shit defenders, serious keeper issues.

I'd take winning ugly 1-0 with an average work in progress side over that 2010-11 which would lose stupidly at home to West Brom or blow a 2-0 lead at home vs Spurs. That team played nice football but that team started the Arsenal banter era by being so incompetent. This team has a robustness i like, this is the platform which attacking football can be built up ontop one we chuck that waste of space out of club, free up that 350k a week to buy two more players and at least one in attack to help us control the game more.

- Pepe is showing he isn't really good enough to play every week. He lacks decision making, the technique and pace is there. He just isn't that good to carry he responsibility to produce.

- Nobody had a particularly horrible game, Xhaka was either doing really good work screening Bourenmouth when they counter us or making braindead charges out of position which thankfully Matteo covered him when he did.

- Ceballos can last 90 minutes now but is a defensive issue when we reach 65-70 minutes as he tires since he has no power and gets beaten very easy in any tussle. He was our best player in my opinion again on the ball. Love his effort again today.

- defence looked better today, despite the errors which happened infront of them they held their heads and composure well.

- Saka showed great effort did a few things well in attack but he will be disappointed he didn't do more. At times seemed a little lost today in the first half but everytime worked so hard off the ball to win it back.

So overall satisfied that we have won, but its not the standards we are used to.

I'll take that every week.

Then you might as well go and do some f***ing yoga during the game and just check the result after.

Why? Winning a game is enjoyable. No matter how it's done.

Never understand fans moaning about a win.

This is the dumbest post ever. Its like saying whats the problem eating unhealthy food and have bad lifestyle while you healthy. Only when your health gets bad worry about it the. This isnt sustainable. Our 4 wins are by a goal vs Newcastle, villa, burnley and Bournemouth. And each one was struggle to the end. We have no coherent play whatsoever

Yeah. I agree. I'm so used to it, he is not a smart guy, mistakes just happen with him.

Thing is when he did his job today he does it brilliantly, but you always get the braindead moments with him part and parcel.
