Thanks English FA for not giving a shit about helping any English sides in this epic situation. Its like they dont want all English finals for EL and PL to boost the brand smh.

f***ing dunces.

EL sides always play on Sundays (occasionally on Mondays) in the league. It's not a special provision for us.

But Monday isn't possible with the Wednesday game against Wolves also coming.. So I'm just wondering what you guys think the FA should've done?

Counting from last night, we will be playing 8 games in 24 days including 3 games in a week this coming week.

That's excluding the EL Final if we get there.

FA can't do anything here. It's the TV guys who decide the fixture list and they won't be helping any side on sentiments alone.

It will be Elneny but it should be Willock.
Hopefully Emery handles our youth better next season.

Yeah, this is actually one criticism I have had of Emery throughout this season.

I really wish he would utilise the youth players more.

Players like Willock looked very useful in the cup games, and I believe they deserve more of a chance to show what they can bring to the first-team, rather than playing in the U23s where they look a class above.

I'd like to think at the very least we will see one or two on the bench who can get some minutes if we're winning the game comfortably with 20-25 minutes to go.

Yes they can. They can speak to their TV partners about extending the league a week. They'll still get their money.

If the Dutch fa can do it with their deal, so can ours..if they really want to.

from the Guardian

"3) Palace will travel to fortress Emirates without fear

The Emirates has quietly become a fortress. Over the past three seasons, only Manchester City have picked up more points at home than Arsenal, and City are also the only team to win there in the Premier League this season. Arsenal’s away form remains iffy, despite Monday’s 1-0 win at Watford, and it’s probably fair to assume that they need to win both their remaining home games if they are to have any chance of finishing in the top four. The second of those, against freefalling Brighton, looks a sure thing. But Crystal Palace, who travel across London on Sunday, are dangerous visitors, mainly because of Roy Hodgson’s defensive organisation and the individual ability of Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend. Palace scored three at both the Etihad and Anfield, and they are the only team in the Premier League who have won more games away than at home. They won’t be scared of going to Fortress Emirates. RS

Can they really? The Prem and the Eredivisie are two different kettles of fish. I doubt the TV people will allow FA to take such a decision and I doubt FA would want to get into a fist-fight with them over this issue. None of them would want to face the consequences.

For me, it's just get on with it kinda thing.
