So was Niles he has really been key the last couple of games

That was a brilliant performance from AMN. Solid on defence, played a major part on the first goal and scored the second.

I thought the subs showed some depth and we still had Guendouzi and Saurez on the bench. Not the best players but we had options tonight tonight.

Mkhi and Iwobi got us that last goal tbf.

Think we look pretty good even subs wise, your never going to really see worldies on an AFC bench are we, we're not Barca or city.

I also think the subs were good and important today, generally speaking more players are involved in the first team football than in previous seasons. And the players who are being rotated look like their are motivated.
The only thing that is worrying me today was sudden energy/effort drop after we went 2:0 up, but we picked it up at the right time in second half and generally we controlled the game.

Do people really think Iwobi has turned a corner? I'm really not convinced. Bare in mind thst he's a forward so just because he's involved in a few goals doesn't necessarily mean he's fantastic

Blimey - what a night... If Emery wins a European trophy in his first year, he'll be an Arsenal man for life, wherever he goes.

He’s improved a little bit I think.

Definitely not a starter though. He has a long way to go.

If, and it's a big if, he can make an improvment in his final pass and his finishing he'll be a decent player, because he IS strong on the ball and does scare defenders with his skill.

No I think he's improved a bit but its more his attacking and pace has helped us pin Rennes and Utd back when he's come on as a sub.

Its not so much I think he's a great player its more the effect their having when they come on as sub's.

Its gonna be a long ride of good performances before I retract on Iwobi and say he's a good player.

For now he's a decent squad option and he has in fact helped us this season.

Iwobi helped change the game. Not saying he's turned a corner, he's had a good game and we were on the knife edge with some of the chances Renne had.

Huge credit to the manager and the team to dig themselves out of what really was a sizable hole.

4 out of the last 5 at home have been clean sheets oddly enough.

the chances rennes had late were both OS. and Cech, god bless his ancient arse, attacked well both times and they didnt go in, even if they WERE OFFSIDE.
at least we didnt stand ariund with arms in air pretending to be sideslinesmen like they did. that should be a coaching point, imho. play to the effing whistle.
dontg expect right decisions. ffs, you sayin that mustafi shloulda let Kane in and not played depending on an OS call that might or mightb not come v Spuds?
