Anyone would think we’d lost reading some of these negative posts - TF you only exist on a computer screen.

Just heading back from game now. Thought we looked in control as soon as we scored Christ Southampton are shit.

2nd half was pretty boring Ozil looked bright when he came on shame the same can't be said about Auba

Winning 2-0 is NEVER a bad thing. I chose to watch the Man U game, fooking shit! That is the most toothless I have seen Liverpool, they bossed possession but created absolutely nothing. You know they were shite when Klopp takes of Salah and puts on that clown Origi.

Back to the Arsenal game, how did Rambo and Mkhi play?

Rambo was ok.. made a couple of really good chances, but they were missed/not taken advantage of.
Good finish by Mihkitarian for his goal, but otherwise just average.

2nd half was a prime example of what happens when a ref keeps his cards in his pocket in the face of multiple fouls.

That kid at right back for them easily finished with 6 or 7 fouls not including the pen he nearly gave away.

That 2nd half was full of niggling fouls all over the pitch. So frustrating.

Also, how we didn't finish up 6 to the good I'll never know. So many opportunities from all areas of the pitch and we flopped.

Still the game was never in doubt and it was a good win v a somewhat bogey team for us in recent seasons, plus 3 of the top 6 dropping points means we had to capitalize, which we did.

Roll on to the next one..

How was the game? Did we play well or more of the same?

Did not watch the game, did Koscielny came on to switch into a 3CB formation or moved Mustafi as right back?

Very frustrating to see AMN or Lichtsteiner as RB.

Mustafi was RB, but he didn't look very comfortable imo

I agree - or at least one of them.
If we had a player like Aguero in this team - we'd be 6-0 up already.

Aguero has scored 5 goals in 880 mins v Southampton
Welbeck has scored 5 against them in 640 mins
Mikitharian has scored 3 against them in 424 mins

Have not been 2 goals up and not won the game since the 3-3 draw at West Ham in 15/16

jayramfootball wrote:We're just not as balanced going forward with Laca and Auba in the same team.

The team have scored 42 goals in the 884 minutes that lacazette and aubamayang have been on the pitch together
That's a goal in under every 45 minutes
Lacazette has scored 11
Aubamayang 16
That translates to 76 goals a season
In our modern title wins we only scored 76 or more goals once
79 in 01/02
Nothing wrong going forward
In fact it was a miscalculation on my part
It's better than a goal in under 45 minutes
It's a goal in under every 22 mins
152 goals in a season
If that's unbalanced then I suggest we need to sign some weebles

Tbf hes picked a position and stuck with it in the face of blatant evidence as far as auba goes, so no surprise starman has come up with more hard evidence that'll be shrugged off...
