You guys really need to lay off Iwobi for this game. He at least got his shots on target and connected with the ball. The players that are supposed to be another level had much better chances to score but fluffed their lines.



Great control from Iwobi in the box for that first chance but he didn't get the right connection on the ball (0.30). A good effort on goal from him at 4.05 as well.

Ozil completly misses the ball at 5:46 and Auba should have done a lot better with Mkhi's pass at 6:00.

Iwobi, Xhaka, Mustafi and Lich should get some credit today. They had more important moments than some of the players often mentioned.

Iwobi did very well I thought. The result was never in doubt.

Iwobi is all drive and no destination.

If you watch the game you'll see he over hits passes, doesn't play people in when he should (he should of passed to Ozil at least 3x) and doesn't make the right decisions in general.

If gets some end product on there and stops fkin up play by making the wrong options then I'll happily support him.

But I fear this is the best he's got and that is not good enough simple as that.

Good result and we played some good attacking football.
Ozil and Guenduzi were out best players, the latter is just getting better and better. Top player already.
Pleased to see Auba helping from the wing - that is his best position.
Very happy to see Sokratis back - he's our best defender and leads by example.
