Club bureaucracy. 30+ players at Chelsea are only eligible for 1 yr contract extensions. The mood on Chelsea message boards is that they didn't want him to go because Jorginho isn't ready to hold down a CM role.

A diff manager would get much more out of them imo

Jorginho also not suited to the prem whatsoever, he needs Italy asap

Tbh their players don't seem to care, hazard is the most talented player in the pl but I would take Salah every day of the week, this is more a job to hazard, he doesn't lose sleep over bad performances imo.

It was reminiscent of Pep’s first couple of months where they look great and tailed off

Funnily enough for the same reason that their squad is lacking

Conte winning the title with this Chelsea side of prima donnas has to be the most impressive performance by a Chelsea manager.

That said, as Simslad said, Sarri's suffering from the same issues Pep did at City in his first season.

Contes team was a lot better though, they had costa And matic, still had Terry for for the dressing room influence, also benefited from zero euro football.

Still very impressive though.

They're nibbling away gentle enough to not draw a card but enough to break up and disturb Chelseas possession, should be a tactic of ours moving forward.

Also on Laca ........... they said Giroud was better? Get to fk!!

I thought we did that really well and that made the game for us. We were up in their kitchens from kickoff. I do think the ref let us get away with more than normal though, but until the refs start calling it, then you keep doing it. We pressed them well and they never found a rhythm.
