I like the look of this Medley chap, looks calm, composed and gets tight to his players

Really dislike late subs, Saka comes on and gets nothing because the team has stopped playing

Really don't get what is gained from it other than reducing risk of injury to a 'first teamer' even though this would be our second string team

Sokratos still making good tackles, but how are we letting them run in behind like that?

So after 11 pages of moaning, b*tching and dissing our manager for every breath he takes.

It was really a quite easy run out and a win.

Sums up some of our posters recently, I big to do about fk all.

Decent enough performance. Blackpool are a poor side and we dispatched them comfortably.

Happy we won and won with ease (whilst keeping a clean sheet). But let's be honest, we should have won that by 5 or 6 with how simple some of those chances were.

Not going to get on Nketiah's back, as he ran the channels well and linked up with the others in attack well too, but his finishing left a lot to be desired. He had a chance to stake his claim to be used more regularly in a Welbeck type role. Didn't take it. Don't think Emery fully trusts him yet.

Willock looked sharp and slick on the ball. I love his acceleration and his crafty movement in the penalty area. Looks like we've got a top player on our hands.

Maitland-Niles did well.

The only two relatively 'poor' performances were from Lichtsteiner and Cech. Lichtsteiner kept giving the ball away and was taking too long to make a decision. He didn't look comfortable defensively at all. Cech wasn't comfortable with the ball at his feet and made a few questionable decisions too. At the end of the first half, he came storming out his area to clear the ball and the Blackpool player got in front of him lol. I don't know what he was thinking. Then he slips and almost gifts their striker a chance in the second half.

Overall though, this could have been an uncomfortable evening, but we went about business in a professional way.

Hoping for an easy tie in the next round too.
