Agreed 100% with this guy.

Finally someone on this weird place who's positive instead of whining all the time

Nobody tell him :)

Tbf I think most attacking teams struggle nowadays. It's inevitable when fullbacks are pushing so far up all the time.

It's part of the reason why I'm hoping we replace monreal with a proper pace merchant because he cant rely on pace against some of the speed merchants in the game if he fucks up his positioning even a tiny bit

But the fact is, WE DIDN'T LOSE which ultimately is all I give a shit about.

Tbh I think we all knew Liverpool could put a few past us and our defence is shit but when it comes to speaking out in the media I think an Arsenal legend like Merson shouldve given us some motivating and positive words leading up to the game especially because we have a new manager as well. If we were doing absolutely shite in all our games and out of the top 4 by a mile then it would be warranted imo.

Difference between me and merson is I troll...he said doesn't. Who beats Arsenal by 3 goals at the emirates? Stupid cokehead

Thing is, I think most fans wanted us to win. Maybe it's just up here (Near Manc) but all fans hate Liverpool, it's just the commentators and printed press that love Scouse scum because every loves a comeback and they are 'due one' after not winning for 25 years, so they forget that success is earned from current players

I actually like Montreal but agree his getting on a bit and we do need to start thinking of a replacement in the summer. Kolasinac isn’t starter quality for me but he’s young so could improve

Decent result and performance and while it’s clear to see signs of improvement in certain aspects there are still some of the same old deficiencies present. Hopefully Emery will iron those out and if Sven can continue recruiting the right players that we need things are looking good.
