Glad for the win but it sounds like Emery needs to get on the backs of the 2nd string.

Very forgettable game of football, but think most of us would agree that winning regardless of performance is a good habit to have.

It was s lot of players coming in that were not on the same wavelength, so disjointed and scrappy.

Same pattern as all of our games to be honest, not a first or second string problem, seems to be the norm for all.

absolutely this... develop/fortify the team psyche...

usetabe we'd progressively worsen if we didnt start well.. the lack of confidence would surface and we'd swoon and concede

and winning there is no small feat... so... take heart, ye Goons!

How was Ramsey?

I expected more from what I've heard from him seeing as he's competing with Mesut for CAM, thought he would of tried to make a statement.

Man Utd are the only other English team to win at sporting Lisbon and that was 1-0 in 2007
Sporting lisbon had not lost at home since September 2017
A 1-0 defeat to Barcelona
