Monday and Thursday. Might have to throw this

Just played 2 games in 3 days and scored 8 goals
We could play two completely different line ups and i'd still be confident of getting results!

Looking forward to this one ............. as I do about all our games these days.

Best opposition in the group but it should be another game in the bag.

Wonder who Emery will take this time / start?

It'll be auba up front with rambo behind him. Ozil and laca on the bench. Sokratis in for mustafi. Guendouzi will start too. The e properly rotate these days.

Leno
Lichsteiner - Mustafi - Holding - Kolasinac
Neny - Guendouzi
Mkhi - Ramsey - Smith-Rowe
Welbeck

As Auba should be starting in the League, he shouldnt be starting here. Mkhi should be playing Europa games instead.

Next six weeks will determine if anything's changed . We need results against spur united or pool. Our usual first half vs those teams and it's game over at 45. We can't lose to united they Are so bad.

Yes.

But we have a trickier December this time. Spurs, ManU away, and Liverpool away.

Under Wenger in recent years, we'd draw against Spurs at home, succumb to a "brave defeat" to United away, and get obliterated by 'Pool at Anfield. So let's see how we deal with these games this season.

Depends if we try and win the ball back right after losing it or if we just allow pressure in the first half. Our defense has been bailed out but pool Spurs united will just finish those chances.

Tbf I don't really care about if we win against the top 4 as long as we're competitive.

Those games are 50/50 at best and with a brand new manager really its less than 50/50 so if we get a result its a bonus, I'd rather win all those other numerous games where we're supposed to win.

Its not that I don't want to see us turn over other big teams its just that table wise there are way more points in continuing to turn over everyone else outside the top 4 than to get hung up on losing to Liverpool and it derailing the teams and fans confidence.

We need to stop being so reactionary and focus on the bigger picture.

Similar to this season so far, losing to City and Chelsea looks like small potatoes compared to what we've achieved since .......... would you swap 10 wins for those two? I wouldn't.

I feel exactly the same.

Of course I'm hoping for us to take points against top 6, but ultimately what I'm most worried about is if we do lose to ie Liverpool, we go into a spiral of shit games that last for weeks.

If we lose, it should be because they were just better than us, the defenders did everything right, there were no suicide balls played across the face of our box, it wasn't a misplaced pass and we at least tried to win just like against Chelsea where it could have gone either way.

I presume PEA was on the bench on Monday to partially rest him for this game. I'd like to see Smith Rowe start again.
