Phenomenal crowds for the league cup
I have been in some really low ones at Highbury
Nobody used to take a blind bit of notice
Now it's a stick used to beat us
f**k em

I only mentioned it because the travel problems were terrible. In the end the Victoria Line was also severely delayed on top of the Picadilly line being closed

Parked up at hornsey
Jumped in the cab
Indoors at 10-45
Brentford had a 2nd half shout but regulation home win
Won't live long in the memory
Like countless games
Highlight reel generation don't realise this

I was one of The Few

Came back via a long walk to Crouch Hill station

I used to be guilty of talking with mates in the clockend of the Friday night before so I guess it's a bit hypocritical
But I had a couple next to me tonight talking about work related matters thru most of the game
Banter I can live with but dullards? Dear god
I lived in crouch end for a little while
Never had my name on the rent book
Went home one day
Flat was boarded up
Good job I had f**k all in the flat then
Still got f**k all but the house is worth a few quid

Ah my dad used to live on Crouch Hill, near the Broadway opposite the Church music studio. By extension, I lived there sometimes

I'm guessing your boarded up incident happened in the 80s or early 90s?

Sounds like the Crouch End of the time! Lots of flats and bed sits

Nowadays obviously it's been "gentrified"

£1.8 Million for a house in Ridge Road

Dunns is still as good as ever
