Hmm, yes. Unfortunately, you are correct, he's the best we have.
Aubamayang was dreadful today again (really lightweight and looks ill-suited to the PL) and Lacazette is more of a chaser - wins a few tackles and pressures a bit, but not a striker.
Leaves Iwobi, I guess - maybe he and Welbeck up front?
We should not have sold Giroud - he's better than all of them.

That post is so bad I almost put you on ignore.

Not really happy with us under Emery but at least he changes things up at half time or early in 2nd unlike Wenger who would would wait until last 20 mins and do the same things every time.

3 points but really humbling match.

Shows were more towards top of mid pack than amongst the top 4.

Defense is going to be horrendous but whats more worrying is that our attack is not smooth as well.

And worse, Emery is mostly sticking to the same weak starting lineups that Wenger used to go with.

He played well against Chelsea and deserved to start.

Was also deservedly subbed at half time.

Probably best to discuss Auba more generally in a separate thread.
In today's match, he looked 2nd division level.

Agree, he's not turned up this season and Laca should be starting.

Need to give him a few more games to get his shit together though.

Was at the game

Thought Xhaka & Hector we’re two of our best players

Bellerin is so crucial to our play going forward dunno how people don’t see it

He is but defending needs to come first, we could have conceded 5 today and it was only west ham at home

In his defence, he's having to provide the entire output down the right flank. Miki keeps cutting or floating inside, so hector has to provide the defence and attack for the entire flank.

Honestly, I think this current situation isn't all his fault. We should have signed a pacey winger or we should rotate more on the fullback positions.

City have 2 of a front 3 as pace merchants every time.

Liverpool the same.

Man u the same

We don't atm. Auba is our only proper pace up front unless bellers gets in behind but then he needs to also cover.

Notice just how much of the last 3 games our attacking focus was forced through his side.

We should have signed felipe or another super pacey dribbler.

We have a right winger that doesn't help much and we have a DM that cant move

I reckon once we get Torreira in and his ability to move and cover full backs will help a lot

Seriously why can’t we play Welbeck as a right winger? Good athlete, stamina, work rate. Decent player as long as he’s not in front of goal. Puts in a defensive shift as well.
