I think this downturn goes hand in hand with me being less active to be honest.

You're probably right, I find myself wanting to defend Arsenal with how negative you are. :smartass:

Does that make you feel better Max or do we have to mean it?

Lot of holes to be filled, but great final third of season and players should be given credit for how they pulled back big points deficit and got over the line. We may have been highest points scoring team over last 12 - 15 games.

over the last 18 games

Simply put, we're not celebrating finishing 4th. We're celebrating finishing above Spuds. Was never like this when Villa 5th.

Thank fawk that's over. Glad to see the back of this season,

Arsenal bias I tells ya.

class does,nt need to brag it has a voice all of its own
bragging rights earn you the right not to have to brag
we are the arsenal and we are better than that

cisse has now reached 180 mins without scoring against us gouffran 63
we have only managed 8 goals in cisse,s 180 mins
i can see why you are so negative?

Those two outplayed our defense in the first half. They dropped off in the second half but our defense was poor. For observations like that on the pitch on the day I was just judging that I could see on the pitch and not how those two had performed in the past.

they did,nt score against us. they have never scored against us
that poor defense that have had their best away season for 9 years
do you not believe it a little self defeating to be sending message from the terrace that you have no belief?

GallowgateEnd wrote:Well done on getting your fourth place trophy. Never used to mind Arsenal but the disrespect you showed Steve Harper at the end when celebrating was out of taste, for me and many others. Hence why your team got booed off, as well as your 12th man Howard Webb.

i was up at newcastle in 06/07 0-0 when shey given went off after 25 mins to be replaced by steve harper
both the outgoing and incoming keeper were shown respect by the arsenal fans[we always clap the opposition goalkeeper]
challenges on rosicky, eboue, diaby and lehmann went unchallenged by ref for the day howard webb.
pretty funny to hear him called our 12th man.
i was,nt there sunday but i,m sure while it was a tad poor not to have marked out harper for a handshake at the end
that as fans we know how to behave regarding a long serving player.
we may have got caught up in our own moment
suprising how southern fans have such little passion apparantly?

No belief in the defense or just an observation from what I could see at the time? Not everything has to be backed up by stats. ;)
