Arteta is a 'major doubt' for this one... Couldn't have come at a worse time. The team needs thheir captain for a game like this...

It's a massive shame about Arteta, especially with such a crucial game ahead. I just hope we can pull off another amazing performance like last night.

I say play Arteta if at all possible... I don't care if he won't be able to walk for weeks after it. He's crucial to our team now...

I'm more worried about Newcastle than Wigan, they are out of shape but they have many tools to attack us.

Play the same 11, hopefully Arteta will be fit as well.

Is the Spurs match taking place at the same day and time?

Honestly I actually feel out of some of the squad who are match winners Arteta is one of the easier members to cover.

We have Rosicky and Wilshere so yes Ramsey will have to hang back a bit more but we'll still have a decent midfield.

We even have the Vermaelen option as CDM, not saying it's not a blow but it's a softer one than let's say Cazorla or Walcott, even Ramsey has looked more critical to our good performances recently but we'll get by I'm sure.

We must crush these lot and confirm the Scums station in life yet again.

Arteta is going to be a big loss, but hopefully, Jack has enough about him to slot in. Cazorla can drop into the middle for when Rosicky gets tired so this can be done.

Plus, Verms at DM might not be such a bad thing, he can go up against Tiote which might be interesting...

This is do or die, there is literally no time for complacency.

Arteta is the backbone IMO. He keeps things ticking over very nicely. I have a feeling we'll miss him this weekend if he can't play.

Tbh, I'd rather lose any of the players you mentioned there ahead of him, we have other options in the =m spots, we don't with Arteta's...

Arteta is Mr. Reliable--our most consistent performer and THE leader of our team. I just hope we can win this one without him--just like we did last season in our last game against WBA.

If he's not fit enough:

Szczesny
Sagna - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Monreal
Ramsey - Vermaelen
Walcott - Rosicky - Cazorla
Podolski
