One of the more boring games this season... but it's 3 points. That's all that matters.
This space used to be more fun...

Too little conviction to get the second goal. Not sure why we seem happy with one and shutdown all the time - but kept it clean and got the 3!

Rosicky > All. And Arteta is so, so good in everything he does. Mops up well; has incredible passing, has the vision, and is a perfect leader. If we can get a DM, Arteta would be superb in the box to box role.

Walcott was fine. He does have this knack of running nowhere with the ball. Cazorla was poor as usual and makes me think that he's better as a CAM than a LF, but God Rosicky has been our best player for quite a while now, so no chance.

Same line-up for next game.

Edit:

And, Podolski struggled a lot. He didn't have the service at all and Walcott is more interested in scoring himself than creating, but our strikers just don't cut it. I'd still persist with him though--until the end of the season. And, Chamberlain is reaching the level of ultimate mediocrity. We need to loan out the lad.

We're boring now but 3 points is 3 points.

What the f**k is Pod playing at. And to then have the nerve to tap Wenger when coming off. We've been proving we're able to grind out results but should it be so? Pods should have had a hat trick in a game like that.

I wish Walcott got into these positions more - in congested areas he's a pretty rubbish player in general, but his speed and fairly strong finishing could be decent assets if used better. Obviously his goal/assist record cannot be ignored, whatever you think of him but he could be even more effective if we were more upfront about his glaring limitations and tried to exploit his limited set of strengths more efficiently.
