I'm not a massive Ramsey fan myself but like with Fabianski if an Arsenal player is upping their game then I'm happy about it.

I'd like to see him come good because otherwise that'll be another failed Wenger project so I hope he pays off although I need to see more before I'm convinced.

He already has better tactical awareness & vision than say Wilshere. If there is 3 players you can bank on making it, it's Wilshere, Ox & Ramsey imo.

As much as Ramsey has been playing great, fully fit Wilshere is still better than him.

Ramsey has been largly average all season. Granted he had a good match against Norwich but he hasn't lived up to his initial hype. :dontknow:

Maybe, Giroud is the best non world class striker that has ever play for Arsenal. We should buy another striker and it will be great to play Podolski or sometimes Walcott as our CF, but please keep Giroud in the squad.

I only saw the highlights but giroud looked quite good.

he hit the bar, gave a great assist to poldi (who didn't score that one) and also was the one who got the pen...what's your problem with him in this game?

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Ramsey was shit on the wing, after given a few matches as a CM, he has shown a glimpse of his former self. I hope for his future that he doesn't suffer another setback.

Hopefully it never comes back. He has been immense this year and is going from strength to strength. I even feel more confident with Ramsey in CM defensively than I do when Wilshere is in the side. We're a much more balanced side and Ramsey brings just as much energy and commitment. If Ramsey keeps it up, I would like him to stay in the first team next season.

I think Ramsey has been better for the past couple of months - generally anyway. This wasn't his first good game at all and the only reason I can think for someone thinking that would be that they don't watch Arsenal very often.

The boy deserves it, that injury changed him as a player, he lost something and has had to adapt and change his game, he's played in an array of positions for the manager without fuss and worked really hard in every single game he's played. Plenty to criticise with his game but if he can play to his recent standard consistently he'll have a safe spot within the squad, plus he's young enough to have a decent scope of development ahead of him.

The highlights are exactly that, the good bits.

Also this was only possible since the subs came on, that's when the game changed, fair enough to Giroud though he was involved in all the goals.

I don't have a problem with it, but we were behind and struggling to convert before the super subs took the game by the scruff of the neck, before that we were just pinging the ball wide and fading out, we needed Giroud then and nothing was happening.
