Probably not, he didn't look great when he came on today.

There was a weird moment when they both kind of ran away from the player to cover someone else, then Merts wheeled round to make the challenge, or was that another time. Even still, he should know whats around him, and also know not to make that dumb arsed challenge.

He was all over the place from the moment he tackled the ball with his back, it was like a self destruct

The penalty was all Per's fault. That cross was close to him to head out. He seemed to have a look and decided to let it go. For someone that tall, he is least committed in the defence to head out balls.

Monreal and Koscielny were both solid today, big Mert had a big mare and Sagna's positioning when we went down to 10 men was absolutely terrifying, inviting crosses every 30 seconds so we could keep things interesting. Think the midfield let us down a bit when we got the red card, they completely gave up the middle of the pitch and didn't even try to press, obviously away from home with 10 men you'll struggle but the way we were dominated was unnecessary - we definitely showed a lot of grit but we rode our luck more than enough.

Good to see Gervinho have another good game and Rosicky really stepped up and did what mattered, something we need from our most experienced forward player - saved us one goal and scored us two, you beauty. Giroud was a mixed bag again but with a bit of luck his game would have looked better, he really wasn't getting the rub of the green but should have at least won himself a nice assist with that flick to Ramsey.

You've got to have days like this away from home and up until the second goal I thought it was a professional performance, just need a bit more psychological balance when it comes to playing with 10 men - a proper defensive midfielder would have been useful today.

Forgot Fabianski - another solid performance, none of his mistakes were costly and he was reliable for the last 30 minutes when we really needed him, my MOTM along with Rosicky probably.

Worth mentioning we did it today missing some of our biggest players again, if we can have Walcott and Wilshere back on the bench next week we're looking pretty healthy.

Love the fact Rosicky is into heavy metal and disturbs the vibes in the dressing room playing his music. Personally I'd have all my players on a steady diet of black metal before a game, get them in that psychotic, murderous mood.

Back in my prime playing days I would drive to my games (speeding more times than not) with White Zombie blasting at nearly ear bleeding levels.

One of my favs pre-game:

Quite surprised to hear that we have the best defensive record away from home considering all the stick we get about our defence.
