Gervinho's display was not average. Ok, not as good as last week, but still way above average. I don't think WBA's defenders can deal with him at all. But, off course he dissapeared completely after we have to defend with ten men.

Watched 2nd half & 1st half highlights. I suppose he had a bicycle kick attempt cleared off the line but it didn't make the highlight reel.

What I did see was him dribbling it to the byline and shooting at the near post :rolleyes:

i can understand the nervousness of the situation but the big worry about vermaelen coming on is unfounded
he was part of the defence that went 389 mins without conceding a goal from the last 75 mins at west brom last season to 45 mins at home to southampton this season.
17 minutes should not have been too much of a stretch
