I was at the game and I will say the MOTD highlights don't do the game justice. They cut out a few good moments such as when Swansea got a shot off that Fabianski had to parry away only for it to be offside and one incident where Diaby, shepherded by Ox, took the ball across the penalty box before losing it.

Our fans were great and at least we managed to give England something good to celebrate (I hope us singing Swing Low was not too cocky)

Tbh I didn't think it was that bad a game, but see nothing changes, no positivity here. :(

I don't have a favorite Gunner anymore. The one who gives his heart out for us every time he puts on the armor will be my favorite Gunner.

It is a shame because we played very well and I think if people saw the whole game rather than selected highlights, they would see there is something to be positive about.

I agree, Jenkinson had a good game yesterday imo, or at least 1st half he did, couldn't really see much when Swans went forward the other end because I was front row (right of goal as you would have looked down pitch) there are plenty of positives to take, Giroud played well yesterday, especially in winning the ball, he got loads of height. Loved the little dance celebration at the final whistle! was creased!
I live in Swansea so this 'away day' was only a short distance to go, but glad you & the travelling support had a good trip. we were loud & proud (and yes I do get loads of shit for being a gooner down this way) ;)

Edit: Swans are increasing their capacity by 2k this summer...hopefully with the addition of a big screen.

It makes such a difference for morale when you go into an international break on the back of a win. If we hadn't got the result yesterday then we'd be waiting two weeks for the chance to get back on form and it's during that time that confidence can decline. Big, big win for us.
