Is Gibbs ready for this one?

My line-up using Wenger's favorite 4-2-3-1:

Szczesny

Sagna/Jenkinson - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Gibbs/Vermaelen

Wilshere - Rosicky/Vermaelen

Walcott - Cazorla - Gervinho/Chamberlain

Podolski

The formation I'd want us to play:
Szczesny

Sagna/Jenkinson - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Gibbs/Vermaelen

Gervinho - Wilshere - Vermaelen - Cazorla

Giroud Podolski

^ We've lost 3 out of our last 4, so we have all the reason to get pumped up here. Chelsea last year should serve as a good motivation for our useless players and manager.

I say play a totally new back four and send a message, since our regular back four just like to ball watch, they can ball watch all they want from the stands.

This. I am so furious with such an inept performance yesterday. How can they make the same mistake over and over, boggles my mind.

Honestly its the lack of midfield protection, in both the goals Bale and Lennon had a run from deep with absolutely no-one tracking and providing support. The defense will be exposed 10 times out of 10 if they no-one in front of them.

The Defense is certainly not faultness, should have probably stepped back instead of forwards but the real issue is the area just in front of the defense.

AOC.........Podolski......Walcott

...............Cazorla..............

.........Rosicky....Wilshere.........

Gibbs..Verms..Koscielny....Jenkinson

................Mannone..................

Go hell for leather with this 4-2-1-3.

Podolski, Walcott and AOC fed by Cazorla would be a treat.

Rosicky and Wilshere is our best CM pairing imo.

Szczesny's best place is on the bench.

I'd take a score draw at this point.

Well not only did the midfield not track the runs, neither did the defense... :BangHead:

Lennon ran away from the midfield, and then Nacho and Verms just watched him run by too.
