Shows how much he regards our support

he used to do that when we were winning trophys as well
whatever you feel about him he has never taken the limelight from the players

All those f****** Rich kids taking there girls and kids to the matches for more of a family outing or a date rather than a passionate football match. We have never even pulled out a flare. Not even once. Bayern weren't even at home and colored the sky with the flares! Say what you want about mancs fans being plastic but as much as I hate them, I hear them at games! I see flares and not just rich people in black hoodies because they don't even own a f****ing club strip.

fireworks are for the 5th november only in england
i would,nt dream of taking 1 into a football ground
thanks for your comment about a family outing
strangly enough my family were at home while i sat over the arsenal counting my money
occasionally looking up to tell people to be quiet as i was losing count
thanks again for the heads up on how to support a football team
i looked in the itv book of i love man utd but i did,nt get any clues so just thought i would muddle thru with what i have been doing for 43 years
thank god for my arsenal scarf otherwise i would not have known who i was supporting
sorry it was obscured by a black coat but my red and white one has still not been returned by santa yet and the yellow and blue 1 is still on loan to joseph and his technicolour dream coat
i prefer my fireworks with burgers and a sausage thanks

Starman making a strong claim for back-to-back PotM

In all seriousness though, I think it's perfectly fair for people to criticise the way some of our fans "support" the team. Why pay all that money just to sit there and observe quietly? It's bad enough that everyone's broke, but the game is no longer the game of the working class anymore, and our club are making sure of that. To someone sitting on their own screaming at the TV like some kind of nutter (like me), witnessing our collective lame attempt to cheer on 11 men is a kick in the teeth. It can be embarassing at times.

But I know our support on the whole are great, especially the away fans who I expect to be the louder voice at the 2nd leg. And luckily enough I was at the 5-2 win over Totscum earlier in the seaosn to see what the Emirates is like when the fans really give a shit. So I'm not always pissed off at our lack of noise, but it's easy to see why some people are.

Again you're missing that it is only those along the sides and in the upper tier that are letting us down, I sit in the North Bank now and also when I sat in the family enclosure, we tried to support the team but were often hindered by the stewards.

gallas was 30 year old captain
mclintock was 34
jack is 21
the senior players in the squad should be going round to the younger players and getting them up
gallas sat in his own private idaho while birmingham had a penalty which they may have missed
unforgivable
he should have been stripped of captaincy that day[possibly even sacked]
wenger walking on the pitch to get him was shocking
he should still be sitting there as far as i am concerned

While I agree with the sentiment, we can't allow a bunch of germans mock us or post lies about our fans. I'd recommend a banner in the return leg along the lines of "Bayern: Hitler's favourite club" (as the Nazi party was founded and mostly based in Munich)
