^ Cazorla is useless on the wings. Please don't try to make him another Arshavin.

Its wenger who has tried to change cazorla, he was a winger at villareal and malaga for the most part and thats where he made his name, maybe he hasn't been quite as good as expected this season because wenger is technically playing him out of position.

Against Chelsea, Cazorla played in the wings and looked out of sorts. He won't be able to orchestrate the game as much as he does as a CAM in the free role.

Also, I'm against Wilshere playing as a CAM. Not every great CM has to be played as CAM. Even Cesc was a better CM than he was as a CAM. Wilshere bosses the midfield from the middle, so if we play him behind the striker--it would be wasting Wilshere's midfield dominance and his raw talent in the middle. I see Wilshere as a Xabi Alonso/Pirlo figure who orchestrates the middle from a deep position. The only difference is that Wilshere has nonstop energy and he can defend as well.

We cannot afford to play without Arteta when he is fit. We're all over the place without him. He returns and we keep a clean sheet and win as well. Provided it was Stoke, but a win is a win. We cannot compromise our best midfield trio of Arteta-Wilshere-Cazorla. I'd be tempted to play Rosicky as a CAM here though.

I think Diaby offers more going forward than Arteta.

Podolski is a top player for us GSK. I wouldn't like to leave him out.

↑ He also adds height, something we will vitally need against a team that relies a lot on set pieces.

Having said that Arteta is much more reliable in the middle of the park and will not give the ball away as much as Diaby.

Not an easy decision imo.

I'm not sure about that. I think Cesc's greatest season was where the formation as built entirely around him. He was a God when he played CAM. That game against Everton :hail: . I think Wenger is doing with Jack what he did to Cesc, start him out deeper to make him complete then put him in their more preferable advanced position.

I prefer Giroud as the striker in this formation. He's in goal scoring form too.
EDIT: meant Mertesacker not Verm in CB
