Looking forward to this game a lot. With Liverpool right behind us, this has become a big game.
Part of my close family are LFC fans so I've seen every game of there's this season that doesn't clash with ours.
Liverpool have done well at the Emirates in there recent visits but if our players turn up with the right mentality we should win quite comfortably. Suarez is on fire this season though so we need to keep him quiet. Wisdom will probably start for them so we should target him and play through Podolski.
I would play
Szczcesny
Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen* Gibbs
Diaby Wilshere
Walcott Cazorla Podolski
Giroud

*if he's fit.

Ramsey would be playin the defensive role there. Rosicky wouldn't suit it

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

uwotm8?

Rosicky is ten times better than Ramsey is in that role(he is in every role basically ;) ). Rosicky is one boss of a tackler.

A Rosicky/Wilshere/Cazorla is EXACTLY what we need.

^^ Agreed Dejan. Rosicky is the cleanest tackling midfielder we have. He never stops running and has the ability to be an ideal foil for Wilshere. The good thing about Rosicky is that he can play in any of the three midfield slots.

rosicky is a little short in the engine room for now but agree he has been missed (but he can be anonomous too),he is the typical later AW signing where he is inconsistant and thats what you dont want in your elder statesmen

I don't usually watch mid-table clashes as I don't have time to watch all games these days but I'm interested how Liverpool react to the FA Cup defeat.

True but he gets carried away with going forward. He's not capable of staying back and playing as the holding midfielder.

It doesn't matter anyway because Diaby will most likely get in ahead of both of them...

I wish we could play 4 CM'S. Diaby, Rosicky Wilshere & Cazorla are all worthy of a starting place.

Anyway, this is a massive game (not that you needed me to tell you)

Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Gibbs
Wilshere Diaby
Walcott Cazorla Podolski
Giroud

or maybe

Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Gibbs
Rosicky Diaby
Walcott Wilshere Cazorla
Podolski

My line-up would be this:
Szczesny
Sagna - Mertesacker - Vermaelen - Gibbs
Diaby
Wilshere - Cazorla
Walcott - Giroud - Podolski

Looking forward to the match. I useally have football training at wednesday evening but i'll probably be home at the 30th minute or something.

Oh, the reason why I chose Diaby over Ramsey: I remember Diaby absolutely bossing the midfield against Liverpool at Anfield this year!
