Its games like these that this formation doesn't work, especially with theo upfront. I think out of giroud and theo it would be giroud who would be better today, all our chances are coming from wide areas and theo is about 5ft tall. I think switching to 4-4-2 though on days like today would cause the opposition more problems, this 4 5 1 does not work when teams sit back and get men behind the ball, there never seems like their are enough options up front when its tight. Something needs to change second half either way as we can't afford to slip up

theo is 5ft 9

I know, I was expecting the standard 75th minute substitution when we are already 3-1 down!

standard?
when did we ever make a sub on or after the 75th minute when we are 2 goals down?
i don,t believe wenger to be a great in game tactition and he does seem to make substitutions by rote but in all my time of going i have never known us 2 goals down in the 75 minute before making a substitution
he throws forwards at it

Its an exageration yes but he is small compared to most centre backs, he isn't stocky either hes just a whippet. He won't outmuscle a defender shoulder to shoulder and unless the cross is spot on won't go for a header. The point remains with walcott up front feeding off high crosses we will get very little joy, through balls in behind a high defensive line though is another story altogether.

But he has so much to offer, i mean come on he can fall on his arse and dribble the ball out for a goal kick as good as anyone in the game. Messi will forever be in gervinhos shadow (but thats mainly because of the size of his forehead)

can you please do us a favour and stick to your word by quietly f*cking off - like you said you would last season after declaring newcastle would finish above us. to go with saying you hope both united and yids "hammer us" both this year and last as well as the several other games you pop up on here to state how much you want us to lose. you ain't no supporter, bore off to a *** or city forum.

very well put sir

Would you agree Southampton should have got the 3 points then seeing as they had a goal disallowed that should have stood?

Even Wenger said after the match that we got more than we deserved on the day...

i would have said they were unfortunate and another reason to have a 4th official watching a moniter had the goal been disallowed for offside.
as it was it was chalked off for a foul on koseilny
i don,t want to win points unfairly
i certainly don,t want to drop them... it was a foul

yes he does talk some bollocks sometimes
another reason why the excuse culture is rife at the club
poor pitches,tiredness,4th is a trophy.not exactly churchillian is it?
you go out
you win if you can,t you don,t lose
you won,t play champagne football every game but you find a way to win
