my god our desire to decimate our squad is staggering
was it never a consideration that a pacey walcott would come in to his own against a tiring side who have played 2 tough away games

you used to tell people that you'd never seen us let a 4 goal lead slip.

The atmosphere n buzz at the Emirates today must have given you goose pumps mate..

Yes, it was awesome, really good atmosphere today, unlike the usual, when we win, people leave early, game dies down, after the 6th goal the crowd knew his is one of those results and games we wont see for a VERY long time.

Barely anyone left early.

when is the last time Arsenal had a 7-3?

october 6th 1956 arsenal 7 man city 3

off coarse there is a 1st time for everything but its the arsenal always do this that drives me mad
the newcastle away game remains the only time i have seen us have a 3 or more goal lead and not win the game

PLAYER RATINGS UP

Gibbs' ratings should be interesting as he was excellent supporting Podolski but it was not his best game defensively.

both sagna and gibbs were poor defensively, all the goals newcastle scored came from those 2. First sagna gave the free kick away needlessly, 2nd obertan skinned sagna to get the cross in and it was gibbs who wasn't marking at the back post, 3rd gibbs was ball watching and let ba get infront of him. Luckily they both made up for it in the attacking 3rd, the poor defending was the only downer on a great day though

Theo, just sign it already, you don't want to be the next Wright Phillips/Adam Johnson/Jack Rodwell do you ?

What's Theo signing a contract got to do with a player not being good enough for the top prem clubs, a guy who loves a weekend drink and someone who is always injured?
