Maybe because it's obvious? :dontknow:

Any moron can see how poor we were/have been/are. Saying it doesn't fix the problems.

The article was about Jones stating that Arsenal weren't good enough. AW never does that because he believes we are. He doesn't see us as poor, because if he did then he would've changed something.

I'm proud of my local side for coming from 2-0 down at home. Top stuff.

It was a question.

Of course they are not exactly the same because games are played by different teams in different locations at different times... and of course I'm being facetious.
But they are all similar... two teams of 11 players per side trying to score more goals than their opposition so what's your point about them being "different games?"

Games are different because of what they mean, what they mean for the club, the players and for local sides the city/town.

Bradford had nothing to lose in their match with us, if they lost it would have been a case of going out to "a great footballing side." However if they won, it would have been one of footballs' greatest triumphs and they got a pretty penny for their efforts too.

Their match with my home club Southend today was far less, not important but I guess meaningful or special for the players and even the fans. It's a bread and butter game, a weekly thing.

This was also NOT a cup game.

All of this makes a difference.

No it doesn't. Every football team goes out to win EVERY match they play even more so if you are a PROFESSIONAL football team. It shouldn't matter the opponents, the competition, the kick-off time, the colour of the kit (add excuses here) you should go out and try with everything you have to win the game. It's your profession, you should take pride in your performance and how well you do your job.

This is the problem with the Wenger players and the attitude he has infected the club with. Nobody cares about their job or their performance on the pitch, they are just happy to pick up their thousands of pounds and go home!

I'm not making excuses but it plays its part. You go to win, yes obviously. But things do make a difference to how you play. If they didn't then we'd have beaten Bradford comfortably. We have a better squad than them. Ifit was based on that football would be boring. So clearly it's deeper.

Enlighten me, what made the difference?

Obviously, that's my point.

Based on what? Everyteam trying their best to win and each player taking professional pride in their performance? That would be boring???? :dontknow:
