Better than how we have been in the past 6-7 weeks...

Created chances as well, but we were very wasteful in front of goal, especially Podolski and Gervinho.

First penalty was a blatant dive by Cazorla though... disgusting actually

Wasteful in front of goal. Better passing. Better movement. Better defensive work.

Sounds good. I'm waiting for match of the day now!

Vermaelen seems to have remembered how to defend as well.

I think his season will depend on Gibbs staying fit though. Verms has been shunted between LB and CB which has not helped his game at all.

Sounds promising. I thought Podolski was injured?
I'm happy that Arteta banged in some penalties after the Fulham game.

Just watched the highlights. It would've been nice if we scored from open play but we played some good football and our midfield looked good. Hope we go from strength to strength and go on a run. :arse fan:
Oh and Cazorla isn't going to get any decisions his way for the rest of the season now

Based on todays performance we need a world class striker and a world class midfielders as an absolute minimum. Don't hold your breath.

Absolutely exhausted after a long day, but I'm so glad to hear that we got the three points today. Going to go back and read through the thread and then watch some highlights afterwards

Went to watch the game. Very pleased with the improved performance and team effort shown. Yes Gervinho wasted two clear chances on goal but Wilshire missed a great pass from him in front of goal and he was man of the match for me by far. Absolute class.

What i'm sick of is Arsenal being made an example out of simply because everyone f***ing hates us. Yes Cazorla dived to win a penalty but the media backlash has been laughable, there will probably be an inquest by the FA and in all honesty it wouldn't surprise me if Cazorla picks up a ban ala Eduardo a few years back.

But yet in the last few weeks Bale has dived on multiple occasions and won decisions and yet its swept under the carpet and even cheered in some corners as "Doing what it takes to win"...

Just f**k off.

Just saw the highlights and going off the comments on here you would think that Cazorla's dive was as bad as Suarez's against Stoke. I watched the video over and over again and and to me it looked like Reid just brushed Carzola's left shin. Sure he went down easy, but I've seen far worse. Far worse

Plus you have to admit, Popov dropped like a rock the second he felt Chamberlain's hands on him. Never a free kick imo, and a perfectly legit penalty for us

I also saw the play involving Wilshere, Arteta, and Cazorla. Sheer brilliance :hail:
