What we are most most likely going to see

.................Giroud.............

Podolski.......Cazorla.....Walcott

..........Wilshere....Arteta........

Gibbs.....Merts......Verms...Sagna

...............Szczesny.................

What i would like to see

.................Giroud.............

Podolski......Rosicky.....Walcott

........Wilshere...Coquelin........

Gibbs.....Merts......Verms...Sagna

...............Szczesny.................

Cazorla and Arteta look like they have completely run out of gas.

Rosicky looked good against Olympiakos.

Coquelin's energy and younger legs will be handy to have.

Cazorla and Arteta would have had a full weeks rest. They need to sack up.

I think they look worn out not just physically but mentally as well. Rosicky can do the job at CAM and he is better equipped defensively which is a bonus. Coquelin has to start ahead of Arteta who has been off-color this season.

Coquelin is dreadful, i'd honestly rather start Ramsey.

People saying Coquelin is dreadful don't know what they're talking about but it's no surprise. I can go back in time and remember when people booed Alex Song, wanted Nasri sold after his first season, wanted Flamini gone before his final season (where he was great) and even when people thought Gilberto was terrible, most fans are clueless and thankfully they are just fans rather than part of the decision making process.

As for the game, it's a must win and in the form we're in I can't see us getting it against West brom who are having a very good season. The starting XI is obvious apart from if Koscielny or Mertesacker will partner Vermaelen.

Form should pick the team and imo Cazorla has been off form for some time now. Rosicky looked good against Olympiacos, so I think he deserves a shot. As for who should play in Arteta's position, neither Ramsey nor Coquelin fills me with confidence atm so Arteta needs to start this one.

Coquelin is the real deal, he will be quality but I admit he's not been great this season so far.

also, so happy to see Rosicky return looking good and back with a goal. We really really need him right now. As it stood we had almost zero quality cover in midfield since Ramsey is very unreliable at the moment unfortunately and Diaby is well, Diaby. Oh yeah and we sold our best midfielder from last season.

Speaking on Deember 6, ahead of the West Brom game, Arsene Wenger said: "Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott (calf) are out. Bacary Sagna (foot) and Laurent Koscielny (thigh) are not back."

Speaking on 6 December ahead of the West Brom game, Arsene Wenger said: "He[Santos] will not be ready for Saturday but he is not far away with an abdominal injury."

Starting Rosicky ahead of Cazorla would be good.
