I wouldn't mind him up there if we had no other decent options but when you have Podolski and Walcott as other candidates for that position he shouldn't be getting near it.

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

We are talking about Wenger playing him up front again.

he can dribble, he's fast, he got his goals at lille because he finished them well though they weren't spectacular... you would think it would be a seamless transition

lol what. No. He's a winger

Can't say it's Gervinho's career I care about though, rather the Arsenal first team.

I'm sure it will be him up front. Wenger is even proud of the fact he's always tampering with player's position. He boasts about it.

We still don't know if he is up front yet. He may be giving Podolski a chance. Afterall he has started moaning now as well.

Afront three of:

Walcott Podolski Gervinho

Would be good. It's got a nice balance and fluidity about it. But I supspect we will see Podolski out wide

Bellerin Sokratis Holding Tierney

Still. It should be Theo.

Podolski should start upfront before Theo. There's not point putting Theo there knowing he's going to leave.

If he's leaving don't play him at all then.

Anyway, neither are up top.

I don't like to see Theo and Gervinho in the same team anyway. They provide many of the same frustrations. Albeit Theo is more reliable in front of goal and Gervinho is a harder worker.

AOC offers a better balance for me

I know why Giroud has been dropped, as Swansea will offer the biggest technical challenge we've faced in the league so far. Just hope it works.

Why should it? Podolski is a striker. Walcott is a winger who wants to be a striker.
