We're going to beat them.
Fatal Descent
Spinning around
I've gone too far
To turn back round

Desperate attempt
Stop the progression
At any length
Lift this obsession

Even if they loose tomorrow they will be ahead in the league tally.

So are we ready for the "Better than Spurs" compensation? It seems it's the only trophy for Arsenal fans.

Doesn't it just.

As I said in another thread we'll beat them next week so everyone can piss about our improvement, kicking on from here and such-like. It will be enough to paper the cracks for a week or two.

Wasn't it the 5-2 win against them last season that initiated our strong run to the finish. I can see that happening again considering some of our players are returning from injury.

I would like to see:

Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Koscielny Vermaelen
Arteta Wilshere
Walcott Cazorla Podolski
Giroud

Subs: Mannone, Jenkinson, Santos, Coquelin, Ramsey, Oxlade, Arshavin

*If Walcott's injured, then Chamberlain to start on the right
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

This game could be a turnaround for us, last season the win over the spurs was a start of a great run, starman could probably find the stats for the run.

My team would be:

Szczesny

Sagna - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Vermaelen

Wilshere - Arteta

Walcott - Arshavin - Podolski

Giroud

Bench: Man, Jenkinson, Djourou, Coquelin/Rosicky, Cazorla, Chamberlain, Chamakh

Yes, we need to drop Cazorla because everybody has realized that if they stop Cazorla; they stop Arsenal. Also, Cazorla hasn't been effective for a month now. We need to rest him and he'd be more deadly coming off the bench if we need him. On the other hand, SHAVA has been in terrífic form lately.

I won't be excited if we win this because I expect us to win it. The only positive aspect is--if this match acts as a turning point for us. If we go into a winning streak and win 15 back-to-back matches after this, then I'd be pleased because we desperately need a winning streak. 11 points off the top and we've played only 11 games! Wow...
