Ramsey is constantly being played out of position, he's far from pathetic...

he's been worse when he's played in position than out of position

he's a CAM IMO. He hasn't been played there this season

he was there pretty much all of last season
he was awful

Mertesacker was in CB all of last season...
he was apparently 'awful' too...

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Mert actually missed about 2-3 months through injury last season.

I honestly don't get all the hate on Ramsey. IMO he's a good squad player. I wouldn't mind having him on the bench as opposed to someone like Shelvey. He might not be good enough to play first team or whatever, but you really shouldn't be hating him so much for not being as good as Wilshere or for whatever reason.

It's because he takes way too long on the ball, always slows down our attack and often misplaces passes. It's nothing to do with him not being as good as Wilshere, it's all to do with him not being good enough to play for us.

I get that, but what you're forgetting is that he's still young, and we could still see a massive improvement from him.

I'm not forgetting that he's young at all. It's just that his age is a irrelevant. If you're not good enough, you shouldn't be playing, regardless of your age.
We could see improvement, but that's true of anyone. The fact is, we aren't seeing any improvement from him. He's still taking just as long on the ball and passing just as inaccurately as he has since his injury.

Fully fit Sagna is the first name on the sheet for the defence. Don't worry Jenkinsons time will come but his not as good as Sagna yet.

Call me crazy but if gibbs is not fit to play against united would we not be better playing sagna or jenks left back? obviously the other would play right back  .

no way.

Yes way, the are both better than Santos, even playing out of position.

Maybe starmandb can correct me, but I think one of them has featured on the left at least once.
`
sagna played left back home to liverpool last season
my understanding is that jenkinson has played all along the back in his short career

1 goal is 3 games is not too promising. We didn't start creating any chances really until they were down to 10. Too many players just standing around the box when we have the ball in their end and not enough movement.
