I will be amazed if we can win this game. They're in great form, they beat dortmund at the Westfalenstadion, a tough thing to do.

This is going to be a classic. Cannot wait. I think we will edge it 2-1.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

The irony: we will beat Shalke here and continue our "amazing" European form. We will do so well that we'd top our group and walk into the KO stages. In the KO stages, our great friend Juventus will await us, rape us at home 4-0 or 5-0, and then "to save our pride," we will beat them 2-0 or 3-0 at the Grove, but we will crash out once again as we always do.

Typical Arsenal-ball.

I think you are describing last season. I really can't remember any other season when that happened besides last season. Not sure how this is typical Arsenal

Schalke are a very underated side but if we beat Dortmund last year we should really beat them.

Podolski...Giroud....Arshavin

.............Cazorla..............

........Arteta...Coquelin.......

Santos...Merts..Verms...Jenkinson

............Mannone..........

Arshavin can play on either flank. He loked lively and we need some freshness upfront.

Coquelin needs to start.

Wilshere will be involved for Reserves on Monday, so he will not start.

Ox--Giroud--Theo
Arshavin
Arteta--Coq
Santos--Mert---Verm--Jenks
Mannone

Is my team. Maybe Podolski in for Ox. Caz really needs a rest though. Poldi's been getting subbed every game so he doesn't really need it, from what I can see.

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

I know Serge Gnabry is an exciting talent, but is it wise giving him his first ever start for us in a CL game? I can see the same team that played Norwich starting against Schalke.

If Theo and Ox are both out then I'd be tempted to start Gnabry.

Poldi and Gerv for me... obvious choice really. Gnarby definitely on the bench though and Santos is still an option if Gibbs is back.

Would really prefer it if Coquelin started ahead of Ramsey.
