Yup he was superb against them last season. His pace and finishing up-front would be really handy.

Get in. Do not care who we were against or what division. Big win. The happy times continue.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

Just saw the 5 minute highlights on the league cup show. Looks like we played very well after we got going. Some really high quality goals. Knew AOC was going to score a screamer like that one of these days, he hits the ball so well. A cpuple very good goals for Walcott but I don't get the argument that it should mean he should play up front. He scored those goals FROM the flanks, did he not? So what's the problem?

Glad Giroud broke his duck, although it's a different proisition to score in the PL. Peno being saved not brilliant for his confidence either.

its coventry we played, a shite team.
In all 4 sub appearances before he was shite, but i think you already forgot that.

yes he was really shite in the 1minute he played in montpellier and when he came on and scored v southampton

Last time we beat Coventry 6-1 we were presented with the (old) first division championship trophy after the match. 1991. I was there

Their defence and keeper are awful. It's good to get a bit of confidence in the squad with a big win, but this is hardly us throwing down a marker to our rivals. It's a shame Giroud f***ked his penalty... probably undid any confidence he gained from scoring his first for us.
