Important to get the balance right between resting some players who need it so they can be fresh for City and not taking our first CL game lightly. Montpellier will be our toughest test so far this season, although not in good form apparently

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Arteta defo needs a rest ahead of the shitty game, there's going to be so much tracking involved in that game....

Remember he had a 2 week rest over the internationals and there's 5 days between Montpellier and City. AOC and Cazorla need a rest most and possibly Podolski too, although I'm sure he will play since he'll be desperate to play in the CL.

I would go into this unchanged. I can understand if changes are made. Bearing in mind the standard of the opposition. But i am all for keeping a winning side together when possible. The season has only just started. People will get their chance v Coventry.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

We need to rest Vermaelen and Arteta. I wouldn't start Podolski as well as Cazorla. I know it's risky but we have to save them for City.

My line-up would be:

Mannone

Jenkinson - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Santos

Diaby - Coquelin

Walcott - Arshavin - Gervinho

Giroud
