SSN now saying Bartley 'joins' Swansea from Arsenal so they're making it sound permanent.

Don't worry Rangel is massive, shame he is f***ing League 1 standard.

He was gash at Rangers last season. I wouldn't get too upset about it.

Bartley could have been a great player for us. Not given a chance!

I was actually hoping to see Bartley in the first team. WTF happened all of a sudden. Squillaci and Chamakh still here and we are offloading Bartley. I am lost for words..

Swansea fans saying it's permanent deal, £1m. I just don't get this at all. Why tell him he's in the first team squad then sell him?

This is all just going spectacularly wrong. We still haven't shifted any of the players we should be getting rid of ffs

Such a shame :(

Kyle Bartley ‏@kylebartley22

Was told my chances of game time this year would be limited, and as an ambitious young player I wanted to play in the premiership.

Swansea deal complete. Very happy.. Was an extremely tough decision for me to leave arsenal, but felt the time was right...

Can't believe it.

I know he wasn't too good at Rangers but he looked good in pre-season. I was actually looking forward to seeing him next season in the CC.

All Wengers good work has been completely undone in less than 24 hours.

Song will be next.

Another one that hasn't really shown that much patience.
Knowing our injury record he would've got plenty of games...

I actually feel sorry for our new signings. For the second year in a row we are starting a season in the middle of chaos, you couldn't find worse foundations to build a campaign on. All the talk that lessons were learned and the manager was happy to spend proper money - all bullshit. At least last August we were forced into a position where we HAD to sign players to bolster the squad. That won't happen this time because of the way AW has done things. He'll say we've signed 3 quality players, we will compete blah blah blah

I realise this news itself isn't exactly earth shattering, but a lot of us would have liked to see him at least get his chance in an Arsenal shirt and it's sickening to see him being moved on when Squillaci is still at the club. He looked much better than Djourou in pre-season too.
