I see people gave Arshavin a 0. I don't know if it happens often but isn't giving him a 1 worse than 0? ) won't change the average will it?

I may be wrong though, I don't really know how it works. It may be a total of points added up rather than an average. I'd take a guess at an average though.

Yea, well 0 can (in some way) still change the average but as far as I know, players never get the rating of 0.
Let's say you got 5 tests to complete on school, every test has the max points of 10, you pass first 4 tests with 10/10 (100%) and your last test ends up with a 0/10, it will have influence on your average going from 40/40 to 40/50 which is 80%.
But when it comes to player ratings or anything else, I never seen any tv-show, newspaper, magazine,... or whatsoever rating a player, bar, restaurant, etc with a 0.
Not just in football but in general, when it comes to rating it's every number between 1 and 10 and not 0 and 10.

Yup Zenith , 1 is like appearance point and performance starts from 2 onwards.
