2+1=3 last time I checked.

assuming the FA bans him for the tackle on Song, that'll be his 3rd suspension for violent play this season, meaning a 5 game ban
add on the 1 game he gets for the 2 bookings, and that's 6
regardless, it sounds like Mancini has dropped him for the rest of the season (maybe longer?) anyway

But you're 'assuming'. As of now it's 3.

it's near certain

On the other hand I reckon life-long City fans like Yorky won't be too dissapointed with this season; since it's probably their best season ever.

won the league 36/37 and 67/68 football was around before the behemoth that is the premier league

I think he means for the fans
a lot of them wouldn't have been alive for the 67/68 season, and even fewer for the one in the 30s

He should have put that away, it just goes to show how off form he is, pre injury he would have taken the back of the net off in that position.

Yes, there was no more telling sign of his form and lack of confidence than that miss. Dreadful. He needs some games to work it out, just not for us (or perhaps just 30 minutes if the game was put to bed already). Too bad Wales aren't in the Euros, could have been good for him.

As I suggested in the wish list thread, loan him out, this time to a premier mid table side instead of Nottingham Forest. Would do him a world of good, Bolton would be ideal as he would get playing time and also be on a somewhat decent side.

Swansea - close to 'home'. Good football. Up and coming manager. Done.

that'd never happen, he used to play for Cardiff
they were booing him when we played them

loan out a player as soon as he hits bad form ?? seriously

arsenal have a strong bench now for once, need to keep it like that, not loan our first team squad out. this is the welsh captain you are talking about, not just a kid. Overall this season, he has been one of our better players

No chance.

RvP
Kos
Song
Verms
Arteta
Rosicky
Sagna - (since hes come back from the dead)

Havee been our better performers. Id put Ramsey in the:

Walcott
Gervinho
Merts

Bracket, where they havent really played to their full potential consistently. Dont get me wrong, i think he needs time to settle back from the leg break, look how long its taken Rosicky to finally re adjust, but hes got a whole summer to chill out and forget this season then start again.

If hes still messing up come December, a loan could then be an option. I highly doubt this is going to happen though.

first few months of the season, he was good, rosicky only really turned it on last month or two

short memories... although i do totally agree he has been off form the last wee while

This is beyond joke. So the referee saw the incident and failed to take any action? You f***ing kidding me!?!?

The ref should be sacked if he saw that incident and didn't even think it was a yellow.

mate, Ramsey was dire at the start of the season
he had one or two good games, but there were some utterly atrocious performances too
the game at Shite Hart Lane rings a bell... he scored, but was still comfortably the worst player on the pitch... missed damn near every pass

I'm not convinced it was a tackle. I think he was going for an open ball but extremely stupidly. Still worthy of a red though with how he did it.

It doesn't say anywhere that the ref saw the incident.

Someone saw it. Official or Assistant.

Where at least one of the officials has seen the coming together of players retrospective action is not taken, regardless of whether they have seen the full extent of the challenge.

What a shit rule... So basically Phil Dowd could see Rooney elbow Aguero in the face, not give anything at the time. Still claim he saw it after to the F.A and nothing will be done, even if it was caught on camera?

Oh I know mate, it's just harsh people always blaming refs. Like Man Utds penalty, from where the ref was it probably looked it. It was the linesman who f***ked up with the offside and the dive.

Just to add, where do we go from here? Do we follow Rugby League and allow the ref to put incidents on 'report' if he wasn't too clear what happened and doesn't want to make a wrong decision based on what he 'thought' he saw?

I do like that in Rugby League but I feel we don't see enough cards when needed as it's an easy way out for the ref.

Just like the Ivanovic goal Vs. Wigan... Who's to blame there? Because it looks like more than just him O/S - Ref's watching the ball being played so obviously the lino.
