Vermaelen's slips really cost us. Not sure if it was the pitch or he was just having an off day. Shit happens.

Not sure why Wenger felt so desperate to get Ramsey a start that he put him on the wing. Bring him on after 60 to rest Arteta or Rosicky if you want to get him some minutes, don't waste him AND the left wing position at the same time.
I saw Song misplace more than his fair share of passes too. Strange day for sure.

We made a few slips, their keeper made a great save - so small the difference between a win and a loss.

It better provide the drive for next game.

It's what happens when it's a mediocre squad with very few match winners, there'll come a time quite regularly where they'll put in a shit performance. Song has either been superb or shit this season and that's tended to be the trend with a lot of our key players. Not enough faces who stand up regularly enough, the main reason why we need star injection into the squad this summer to help out the very talented and super huge prospects of Jack, Ox, Ryo etc.

Have to say I was in aggreement with wnger's press c after the game, described it fairly, didnt allow any more insult to injury for Verm and didn't do a usual blame game.

He felt bad for (rightly) dropping him in favour of Rosicky... some of these youngsters are quite fragile ya know.

Form should always pick the team. I still have faith that Ramsey will come good, but right now he shouldn't be starting games... and what good will it do his confidence starting him out of position anyway!?! :BangHead:

Conceding 2 goals from one player in 301 minutes is nothing to be proud of. Irrelevant stat, statto

This is f***ing stupid. Even though this pisses me off since this looks like same old Arsenal again and I'd hoped we turned a corner, I could've accepted a draw. We'd sacrifice some distance between us and the Spuds, which worries me, but right now I couldn't expect much more.

But this?

We've got to play City next. If we lose that game we'll likely be behind Spurs again, and possibly even Chelski and therefore out of the CL spots.

Sort it out ffs.

it wasnt at the emirates......BAD stato

it was good old fashioned sarcasm.
had it been at the emirates i would have been there instead of the orange tree in winchmore hill.
i may be getting on but i know where i was 2 days ago and what i,m watching with 5 mins to go in an arsenal game and its never a blank screen win lose or draw.
never thought 3rd/4th was a done deal
been watching the game to long for that but some of the bi polar billary on the back of a defeat is staggering
