This is quite amazing if you think about it.

Spurs were 13 points ahead in the 34th minute when they were at the Emirates in February.

We don't even need Van Persie's goals anymore :arse fan:
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run

From that Spud site:

"You have to look at the facts, Arry is to blame for this situation, nobody else, I think it was a mistake to let Pav, Corluka and Pienaar leave, they were proper back up, players who could help change a game , this is where Arry falls down imo, he doesnt know how to change a game either to win it or close it down, and this is why we wont win anything with Arry in charge, sorry folks but thats my opinion."

:dizzy: How many times have we heard this about Wenger?

Still reading that forum, it's comedy gold!

Calling Bale arrogant and saying that he's playing shit.
Calling Redknapp a mid-table manager at best.

Best team in London?

Just watched the highlights on MotD. Didnt show any of the dodgey challenges at all but did make a point of showing two dodgey offsides (Drenthe and Gibbs off RvPs shot that hit the post).

Didnt see the first 25 mins. How the f**k did we not win this 4-1?

No end product.

Seriously, screw a new AM, we could use a decent goal scoring winger.

Yes but the idea of how easy it is to drop 13 points so quickly... :hiding:

Just back from the match.

There's no doubt that we got lucky with the offside goal. Because he clearly wasn't. I could see that from where I was sat. My initial reaction was that he had given it for Jelavic being off because Drenthe wasn't close to being off.

That said, the Rosicky incident looked like a penalty from where I was. Everton players got away with challenges that should have got yellows (it was a joke that Sagna got the first yellow in that game). And we dominated the rest of the match - with our shooting boots on we could have been 4 or 5 to the good by the end.

TV and Koscielny were top quality tonight.

I'll be honest, after the Bolton away match (last match I was at), I was doubting Wenger a lot. Not because I thought he was a bad manager, but because it seemed like he had lost the team. The 1st leg in CL and the FA Cup didn't help. But fair play to the team, they've shown some serious character in the last month, winning difficult games and not just winning them but winning them from difficult positions.

We've still got problems, but performances like tonight make me properly proud to be a Gooner. Wasn't showy, it wasn't a walkover, it was 11 blokes going to a tough group and getting the job done.

Zedie wrote:Really tough game, cant believe RvP missed two sitters. Gervs end product was exactly that when he came on, should have had 2 assists.

Gervinho did well for me getting open and had two good runs down the left. We should be disappointed if we have to be with players like Sagna, Van Persie, Ramsey.

I was VERY impressed by Gibbs today, had a great game, really making a case to be first choice now. Only complaint was that Wenger didn't bring on someone earlier near the 15th minute like Chamberlain or Gervinho because our attack was not doing anything. Other than that it was a good result against a tough Everton side.

Plus, to anyone saying that Everton deserved that goal... we easily deserved ATLEAST a free kick from the Rosicky foul in the box. Just as easily could have been a penalty as the Everton player got absolutely no ball and impeaded him. Net result was fair.
