great result lucky with the off side goal.but we could have destroyed them,RVP post and other chances Ramsey should have been on the scoresheet at least once.A chelski LWC draw this weekend and us taking the points against Villa and its Job on.

Just watched the MOTD highlights and I couldn't agree more, we were lucky with the offside call but so did Everton with the misses from Ramsey and Robin.

Also, Chez needs to STOP putting pressure on the defenders! every game he does this at least once and we're close to conceding a goal.

Chez wasnt the only one who gave unnecessary pressure, song gave the ball away easily a couple of times and we were put under pressure, the first half was one of those halfs where there only pressure come from individual errors from our players,if we had taken the early chances they would of been out of the gane after 15minutes.but as i have said alot szeznys distribution is his worst atribute

Also loved that statistic that RVP had scored more PL goals than the entire Everton team LOL

I thought our centre backs were superb last night. Vermaelen was outstanding and won every ball he went for, Koscielny was also really assured in defence and made some brilliant Lucio-esque runs forward.

I hope Ramsey does not start our next home game. I wonder how folks like Benayoun and Park feel, when Ramsey and Diaby kinda waltz into the midfield either as starters or subs, and others never get same consideration. Park coulda played from the left too.

........ 1 - nil to The Arsenal

Just what the hell did Shez think he was doing?
Nearly threw the 3 points away for us. Idiot.

I'm glad Rosicky kicked him up the arse afterwards.

Still don't understand why Ramsey started ahead of Gerv, I mean wtf?
Ref missed a penalty and lino missed an offside for them, typical. Just lucky that the ref didn't cost us the game.

You know for the entire match we had Gibbs fighting a lone battle on the left hand side. Both Rosicky and Ramsey were no were near the flanks. Gibbs had a very good game especially in light of nobody present ahead of him.

Yep, we essentially played with 2 holding midfielders, 2 players in the free role, a CF and a winger. Far from balanced, Wenger does like to keep us guessing with the odd ridiculous team selection every now and again doesn't he?

Yesterday's team selection took it to another level. He left Gibbs on his own on the left hand side defensively and attacking wise..Playing without a WF made it easier for Everton to cope as they knew nothing would come from left hand side consistently..

People used to joke on here about AW fielding an entire team of Attacking Midfielders but its actually heading that way!

Szczesny
Yennaris Song Coquelin
Ramsey Arteta Wilshere
Rosicky Diaby Ozyakup
Arshavin

AW "But ze will not be able to cope wiz our movement and intelligence and I 'ave always said Arshavin eez a super quality Centre Forward"
Leno
Bellerin Sokratis Holding Tierney
Ceballos - Torriera - Özil
Pépé - - Lacazette - - Auba
