Yeah, it's like spending money to sign actual good players is stronger than a manager's faith. Who knew?

This may sound really harsh but I think a more experienced player would have stood at the goal line with his back to the goal for Sunderland's 2nd. Ox instead opted to run all th way to the goal but not directly to the goal line but instead turns in a bit(losing precious seconds). A experienced player would have run all the way to the goal line as the fabianski had gone off his line and stood on the line with back to the goal anticipating the shot. You see someone like Ashley Cole do this all the time. If Ox had done this he would had cleared the ball easily; but somehow he was facing the goal and ball got caught in his legs.

To his credit though, after being involved in losing the ball for arsenal; he showed character to run all the way back. That's the attitude Arsenal need tbf.

A more experienced player wouldn't of gone that far out of position to be where Ox was.

If he touched it or not it was a goal. He shouldn't of been where he was but it didn't make a difference.

All it showed was a bit of heart from a young lad which is what you need right now.

I'm not going to blame him for that even though he was facing the wrong way and lost the ball initially.
He did show heart and determination to get back and try and retrieve the situation. Arteta was too easily brushed away by Ssessegnon. Look at TV casually ambling back who allowed Larsson (i think) to get a run on him some 45 yards out, by he realised there was any danger Ssessegnon had already delivered the killer pass.

Another game, another piss poor performance.

A few things I've noticed recently....

- Sanga is waaaaay off the pace and has really struggled since coming back from injury; his crossing is still the same piss-poor, 'get the ball in the box and hope for the best' as ever.
- Arteta is shite. Plain and simple. He does nothing put pass the ball backwards and sidewards, having no urgency in his play whatsoever. Refuses to take responsability for a forward pass and its been annoying the shite out me for ages now.
- Johan should stay at right back becuase he's even worse are centre back than he is at right back!
- Shez still manages to get beat from silly angles
- Rosicky has upped his game recently and needs to be ahead of Ramsey.
