Its only a positive if he plays ahead of Walcott, which i doubt will happen. I'd like to see him play ahead of Walcott on the right with Oxo on the left, but again, doubt it will happen.

Sadly, i think this is going to be the end of our season, as has happened so many times before, i think Sunderland will be riled up for this, and now its us with the midweek hangover to deal with, and the team will be very deflated.

We are not at home either, so thats another negative, i won't mention Sunderlands pitch, which caused us no end of problems.

I'm not looking forward to it.

I'd like to see this lineup.

Szczesny
Sagna - Djourou - Vermaelen - Gibbs
Song - Coquelin
Arteta
Gervinho - Van Persie - Oxo

Drop Rosicky and Ramsey, play Arteta in a much more advanced position and have two fast, tricky wingers who can dribble with the ball.

I don't care if a 5 year old could finish better than Gerv, he is a damn site better than Walcott.

Djourou at the back is a necessity, Mertesacker and Kos are both out, and i don't want Miquel to play on the right side of centre back.

Its mid feb, and its been the time of all our capitulations, we are all but out of the CL so i see us following suit here unless the team digs deep and really get at Sunderland.

If this line-up starts, 2-0 Arsenal.

I don't think we should play RVP, that pitch is an injury waiting to happen (and already has happened - Mertesacker), if we lose him then any chance of us finishing 4th is completely gone

Pretty much echo the team selections given already. For Saturday drop Walcott and try Gervinho and The Ox on the wings please. Sick of seeing a complete lack of creativity on the wing with him. The amount of times it went to the wing in the first half yesterday and nothing.

Szczesny

Sagna - Djourou - Vermaelen - Gibbs

Song - -Coquelin

Yossi--Arteta--AOC

Van Persie

We can do with some fresh legs and enthusiasm. Yossi has a better final ball than both Walcott and Gervinho. Gervinho has just come back and after playing in ACON, he is bound to be jaded as well as mentally scarred especially after that penalty miss in the final. we should not be rushing him back. Coquelin should be given an opportunity ahead of both Rosicky and Ramsey imo.

We need fresh ideas because I can't see us advancing if we use the same players (who are no doubt lacking in confidence right now). I say drop Theo, Rosicky, and Ramsey permanently and let them have the week to look at themselves and sort their heads out. This is what I would like to see:

Szczesny
Sagna Djourou Vermaelen Gibbs
Yossi Coquelin Arteta Ox
Van Persie Chamakh

I would also like to see these subs in the 2nd half:

*Gervinho for Yossi
*Song for Coquelin
*Park for Chamakh (or Van Persie if we're out of sight or an injury looks certain to happen)
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

I think he might do well in a 4-4-2 :dontknow: . Anyway, either him or Park to start to freshen things up a bit

I think the song at CB and coq at DM is a sound move,Ox needs to start how he did not start in Milan is just neglegant,RVP must play we may as well not turn up otherwise he may get injured but if he is not played it is a clear message to fans silverware is errelevant, fourth place is our priority for sure, but lets see how much ambition we actually have considering two big league games coming.

Yes, i like that! But really more of a 4-3-3, than that 4-2-3-1 crap.

Kos aint hurt that badly.
