That one goal against us has been completely erased out of my memory though! :)

Let's be clear here, I'm not saying we'll do it, I think it's highly unlikely.
The way we're playing if we score four we'll probably concede 3 in the process, but I don't think that waving the white flag before a ball is kicked is the right way to go.

Of course if we're 2-0 down after 30 minutes then get RVP off immediately!

You've scored 12 is it in your last 2 home games I think?

This is certainly possible, if they can score 4 past you, why can't you score 4 past them, If you can get 1 or 2 the atmosphere will be electric, and I can't see them keeping a clean sheet at the Emirates.

can,t argue with that
keep the defence water tight and take our chances
we have a striker in hot form.
we are
pulling our pipe out to get in next seasons champs league.
i see no point in giving this up without a fight

Injuries! We break our necks trying to get past milan and we end up with 2-3 key players out for the run in!

This is what i was saying before, if we had the squa to cope i say go for it! but we really don't. We always down to the bare bones.

can,t worry about injurys
part and parcel of the game
players can get injured training or playing with half a heart.
give it the commitment that all games require.
i will
expect nothing less from the team

True, but conceding four did us in. If we could have played sound defense after 1 we'd be in this thing easily. I'm glad to have Szczesny in form because Ibra is in some nasty form right now. I'd side something like:

Szczesny
Sagna Vermaelen Koschielny Gibbs
Rosicky Song
Chamberlain Benayoun Gervinho
Van Persie

Subs: Walcott for Gervinho, Park for Van Persie, Djourou for Vermaelen

Szczesny
Debuchy Mertesacker Koscielny Gibbs
Ramsey Flamini
Walcott Ozil Sanchez

Bennayoun, Diaby and Arteta are out so i think this means the OX to start CM i think. Gibbs is also facing a late fitness test.

In my mind, since the Spurs result i actually believe we can do this and take this to Extra time. These games come around very often and if we do manage to turn this round, it will be a massive massive ending to what has been a poor season, with RVP on his game absolutely anything can happen but we definitely need the same fight and determination which we had against Spurs, this includes the 12th man also the crowd was amazing against Spurs.

I'm sure Arteta will miss Milan and Diaby Milan and the league game this weekend probably but Benayoun could be ok I think. We don't have anyone else to play in midfield except perhaps Djourou at CDM so we might have to risk Yossi.

Because we haven't kept a clean sheet since vs bolton in the 0-0, and our defence has been shit ever since Vermaelen got injured vs QPR and our back changes every match it seems.

We might score 4, but they will score so we'll had to score i'd say 6 at least to go through.

they failed to score against juventus, inter, fiorentina, napoli and lazio this season.all sides that i believe we are better than.
and they did lose 4-0 at man utd in 09/10.
i think it is unlikely but not impossible

It will have alot to do with how AC Milan's attitude will be on the field, if they start with a naive and arrogant mentality, you ofcourse never know.
I can only remember us winning 0-5 vs Inter, not AC though.

inter 1 arsenal 5.
only played ac milan once competivly
07/08
0-0 at emirates
won 2-0 away.
we did play them in the super cup once but its a glorified friendly and despite going to milan for it i give it no credence

they only failed to score in one leg of those games,i remember a 2-2 draw against lazio and 3-1 loss away to napoli in the start of the season besides juve are unbeaten and they are better then us right now, and napoli have a better starting 11 then we do atm atleast,
