Not a bad lineup apart from the make weight defense... Good match to have that 4 play together first though as Everton isn't exactly the biggest attacking threat.
This space used to be more fun...

I like the 3-1-4-2/3-4-3 idea someone posted in the other thread. Forgot who  . Anyway, for this to work, Song needs to stay back and our offensive players need to apply constant pressure on the other team.

We have home advantage too, so why not

I think id rather play Miquel at LB than shift Vermy out of CB since that would probably mean Kos and Merty in CB inviting Djourou into the side, and he was woefull midweek.

I dont want to see Miguel near this starting lineup... Massa posted oyt best possible option at the back

Johan --- Vermeealen --- Mert --- Kosh

We need The Verminator in the middle to help out that tit Mertersacker.

Could go the whole Chapman hog for the Anniversary and line up 3 - 2 - 2 - 3
Something ala:
Szcz
Kosh Mert Verm
Song Frim/Coq
Ramsey Arteta
Walcott RVP Gervinho

Could be quite deadly!

I remember that game in the snow we had against them, I think we conceded a crazy goal iirc, they can form a threat if they get the confidence so we need to overwhelm them from the start and take our chances. I don't want a game like the Fulham vs Liverpool game where there was nearly 40 shots and 1 goal, if it is that kind of game then it may play into their hands.

Our defence will be our weak spot today whoever we choose so we need to give them as little chance to attack as possible.
