Good win today . It's a bugger that they've got those two games in hand . Hope Stoke bombard them tomorrow .

Nah I think we'll be doing really well to get top 3. Everyone else will strengthen next month as well. Even if City stumble I can't see who will catch them up

except us.

The title is certainly not done and dusted. Every team has a couple of games of bad form and thats all it takes.

I really thought this was going to be another one of those days where we throw away too many chances and it ends up biting us in the ass. Defense played very well today though, didn't allow Everton much of a chance.

Not the most overwhelming performance, but it's sure nice to see the defense play like that.

Vital win for us in my opinion because we were riding on super confidence before the fulham draw and olympiakos defeat. I knew it would be tough for the first team to come back after sitting out during the CL game and respond. 1 nill to the Arsenal is fine for me. Once again required some brilliance from Van Persie but thought Walcott overcame his poor start and did well toward the end as did Song (massive game) and Koschielny.

Does anyone else agree with me though that Oxe deserves a start on that left side. Not that Gervinho has been poor, but he deserves it after how he has performed when given time. We need competition in spots, it keeps the starter on their game with a youngster eager to come in for them.

not sure you can celebrate the defensive display when we didnt attack! No disrespect to you guys but if your back 4 might as well have setup a campfire and told stories over toasted marshmellows, because they had sod else all to do!

I know what you mean, but it really can be looked at either way. You guys didn't attack, or we didn't allow you to... half dozen of one 6 of another.

Playing with 4 center halves, I thought for sure we'd look disorganized or do something stupid. We always seem to even with people playing in position.

Personally I thought we would have been a lot better in defence had Djourou and Koscielny swapped roles.

Having said that, Koscielny is not human, the strength and leap on him is f***ing unreal, shoot me down but I think he dwarfs Vermaelen in that department.

Our unsung hero this season by far.
