Wenger, you're an idiot. There wasn't one ounce of love for Nasri in the stadium last night. And he will get the exact same reception next time he returns.

What a joke... I have to just laugh at the stupidity of that comment.

Tend to agree with that line of thinking Chris.

That's why I've said, while I don't long for Wenger's departure... I will not feel any sadness when he leaves. Disappointing it has come to that point.

OK i missed the game, only seen extended highlights. Good performance and importantly we have a gameplan now vs City.

1. Foul, injure or kill David Silva
2. Get at them as without David Silva they are beatable and it's give and take, they still have loads of quality players but Silva is clearly the mastermind!

Thats it :)

I honestly can't choose between Koz, Coquelin, Ping-pong and Ox... Who's everyone else voting for then?

Very hard to choose, they were all excellent. In the end I went for Coquelin so that if he wins it will give him a confidence boost.
Miquel and Fabianski also did well.

In the end I went for Coquelin. I'd have gone for Frimpong if it wasn't for the last goal. I didn't see too much of Fab during the game and Miquel got caught out a few too many times against Johnson for me to vote for them. Looks like Ox won anyway

Inchpractice wrote:By the way, did anyone notice Mancini after the game? In his interview he admitted that Nasri WAS affected by the abuse he was getting and that was why he was so poor.

Yeah

They could use that exact gameplan against us with RvP ;)

Coq was the one that let Aguero go leading to the goal. He was so indecisive on whether to play him offside.

Coq did give up on the play if you watch it again Inch.

Probably wasn't going to catch him, but he gave up.

Gave up? Hahaha, Try running over 10km in a match then finding the energy to sprint after one of the fastest players in the world.

Lolage right there.

Coq was awesome, and he was not responsible for us conceding a goal, we were woefully outnumbered on the break.

He fell short a bit, wasn't exactly the same as Denilson's tracking back for THAT Rooney goal though.

... still keeps me up at night!

Firstly. you criticise Coq a few pages back for looking the other way when he made a pass.
Now you're saying he didn't get back quick enough to save the goal when it was actually Djourou who lost k*** Aguero.
At the time we had FOUR centre backs on the pitch, ALL of whom were in the penalty box trying to score the winner. We were taking a huge risk to try and win the game and when you do that it can backfire.
It's not the fault of any one player it's just because we were so desperate to win it.

Coquelin was one of the MOTM outstanding performances that night so I can't understand why you're desperately trying to find tiny errors that he made in order to discredit him...?
He was excellent, get over it.

If only we had a striker we'd've wiped the floor with that £120m "second team".
Good show nonetheless.
All the youngsters carved names for themselves. Everyone one of them from Miquel to AOC fronted up big time.

Ps if Djorou had stayed with Aguero we may well have avoided that goal.

We did have a striker, we had two of them. Had Man Shitteh not had a 6ft 8 goalkeeper with silly reflexes, we'd have wiped the floor with them.
