Norwich are no pushovers, but we should have finished a lot better. Nervous last 20 mins but apart from that pretty comfortable.

A well taken three points today, those are the sort of games we'd be losing earlier in the season, or dropping clangers late doors.

Theo ran the show for me, RvP showing real class now too. Vermaelen was also strong at the back, Mertesacker worries me though - The rarity of a German defender that can't defend!

Another two right-footed goals from that one-footed guy!

I really wish he would learn to use his weaker foot

Add that to Stoke, Sunderland, Swansea and most other wins this season. The typical performance and scraped win against average oppoition. defence still looks like falling apart when tested with players always out of position, plenty of football with not enough end product, Song giving it away too much and Arteta and Ramsey are far too annonymous through the middle imo. I just don't get the Ramsey hype. I think we'd be seeing a lot more consistency if we had Wilshere or someone world class controlling the middle.

the usual over reliance on RVP is just getting scary now, it's scary how good he's gotten but if he does his usual injury routine, or even worse decides not to re-sign we're well and trully up shit creek.

it's great we're scraping out tough wins and still picking up points, we've done what we've needed the past 5 weeks but we NEED to sign some additions in january! it's only a matter of time before these types of performances start dropping us points (namely as soon as we lose gervinho, rvp or vermaelen to injury).

I'm sometimes surprised at the number of chances Song creates for us (goals, assists, etc.), especially considering that he's a defense midfielder.

He's encouraged to get forward when possible, I don't think we'll ever see him play the traditional DMF role.

I have noticed his attacking side has improved this year but I feel it has come at the expense of his defensive prowess and I don't know how happy I am about that This year may be his best year attacking wise but it has also contained the most clumsy challenges and unnecessary yellow cards that I have seen from him. Don't get me wrong I am over the moon when he puts in a big contribution going forward but I want him to stay true to his position in heart and mind.

I think his stats will show that he has contributed more in the final third to our wins than Ramsey and Arteta. I don't mind that at all.
