This could prove to be our toughest game in the group stages, everybody including myself thought that Dortmund would be the danger but the way Marseille dismissed them 3 - 0 was impressive stuff.

Yup. I'd gladly take a point from this

What I think we'll get:

Szcz
Jenkinson Per Kos Gibbs
Song Arteta
Theo Ramsey Gervinho
RVP

*I think if Gibbs plays against Sunderland, then Santos will play in this game. Otherwise, vice versa
*Imo, I think Coquelin should play in the Sunderland game so Song can be rested for this. I fully believe Coquelin can handle himself against Sunderland and we'll need Song at his best for this.
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

Well I assume that Gibbs is injured so won't be risked

Santos to start and to cement his spot in the starting lineup

Is Park ever going to play for us??

I guess RVP is un-restable at the moment... he's the only one winning games for us really
hopefully others step up soon so we can give him a break

We really only need to get a draw from this game. I know Marseille have started well but I really dont think they are all that good (famous last words, I know).
I'd be more than happy with a 0-0 or 1-1 to be honest.

^ this

Theo seems to get his Arsenal and England places on "big potential reputation" these days, in reality he's utterly useless for 89 out of 90 minutes every single match.

agreed, I'd give Ox or Arshavin a run instead of Theo, if only to give him a boot up the arse

Been waiting for an Arsenal v Marseille game for a while now, should be a cracking game.

I wouldn't mind seeing

Szczesny
Jenkinson - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Santos
Song - Rosicky
Arteta
Oxo - Van Persie - Gervinho

What i'd really like to see though is

Szczesny
Jenkinson - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Santos
Oxo - Song - Arteta - Gervinho
Van Persie - Park
They see' me Trollin', they hatin'

Sorry to burst your bubble Gunn but we all know Walcott will start and Park won't play at all

I would love to see your second team
